Smoothies Posted on July 5th, 2007

One of our favorite summer time treats is smoothies.  Icy cold ones.  We like to use frozen fruit to make them slushy and cold.

1 cup milk

1 cup vanilla yogurt

2 cups frozen fruit

Blend and enjoy.  This makes around 4 servings.

Variations of frozen fruit that we have used are: peaches, 1 cup peaches and 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup strawberries with a non-frozen banana, 1 cup blueberries with a non-frozen banana.

    Thanks for sharing robinlyn….

I am going to get the ingredients for this today. I thought I wouldn't have to run back in to town today..but it looks like I will. Actually, I am not running, I am driving the car. Have a smooth day.

Thanks for the recipe for the smoothies…..We three waited excitedly for ours to be made. My daughter made them with me with the surprise fruit…blackberries. Yes, we had blackberry smoothies. Tasty…..but way to seedy. I will try another flavor tomorrow. Thanks again.
